THANK YOU for your amazing entries to our comp.  The architect who reviewed the entries was really impressed with the creativity shown.  Our winners really thought out of the box!

JOSEPH (3-6 yrs group) used collage to turn the building into the 'hallosaurus' - like a big, colourful dinosaur with big 'hug hands', spikes for jumping on, springy feet and a huge tail for climbing up.  Hull Fair needs something like this!

LUKE (7-10 yrs group) transformed the roof by adding a giant eco-friendly tower with solar panels, a wind turbine and electricity conductors.  Really ingenious - imagine our hall powering everyone's houses for miles around!

WELL DONE done to you both - we hope you enjoyed your prizes!

HALL IMPROVEMENTS:

The second phase of structural refurbishment completed in May 2023 aided by generous support from several funders.  The scheme comprised: renewal of the rear wall to match the frontage completed in 2019; extension of the play area; remedial works to the disabled access ramp; redecoration of the stage and side-rooms.

Our new frontage was completed spring 2019, greatly improving the hall's appearance and comfort in the inside rooms. The scheme was supported by a number of generous donors.

Renewal of the roof is the next major project!
